Holiday Closing

Just as a reminder, the library will be closed Saturday, May 28 for Memorial Day Weekend. We will reopen Tuesday morning at 9:30.

The Red Sox World Series Trophy will make its only Greenfield appearance here in the LeVanway Meeting Room at the Greenfield Public Library from 10:30 to 12:00 noon on Friday!
Come down and see the proof that the curse is no more!

Podcasting

For those who didn't hear it, Morning Edition's technology report had a segment this morning on podcasting (audio weblogs). The Greenfield Public Library was ahead of the loop on this one. Early Closing

The library will close at noon on Saturday, May 14 to replace the library's current server with a new one. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Book Sale!

It's Book Sale time again. Time to come out and show your support for the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library by buying a book... or buying a lot of books! The Spring Book Sale starts Thursday, May 19 and runs through Saturday, May 21.

Thursday's sale hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will be for Friends of the Library only. The good news is that you can become a Friend at the door by making a donation to the Friends in any amount! Friday, the sale will be open from 9:30 - 5:00 and Saturday from 9:30 - 2:00.

One thing to be aware of: the library closes at 5:00 on Thursday so you will need to enter through the library's back door (by the fire station) to get to the Book Sale's Opening Night.
