Library Computer Thefts

As many of you know, the library was broken into in February and three public computers were stolen. At this point, we have the computers back, although they aren't yet available for use.

While the break-in was a frightening experience for us, some good has come of it. The community's response has been amazing and appreciated. People came in to tell us how horrified they were that someone would do this to the library, to offer computers for us to use, and to show us support. There are many people we would like to thank: The Greenfield Police Department, Northfield Mount Hermon School, GCTV, and the many people who offered us computers to use while we are getting ours back into circulation.

We have been heartened by your generosity. Thank you.
