Your Library Card - Don't Leave Home Without It!

As a reminder, starting January 2, 2006 you will need to bring your library card every time you want to borrow materials, place a request, pick up an item, or use one of the library's computers.

Using your library card:

• Prevents mistaken identity
• Protects your privacy
• Permits us to serve you faster
• Prevents fraud.

Suggested ways to remember your card include:

• Punch a hole in it and put on your keychain.
• Keep it with your driver's license or in your car.
• Get a separate card for every member of your family.
• Attach it to a keychain to your backpack.
• Buy a library book bag from the Friends and keep the card in it.
